A highlight of the X320 Business Career Planning and Placement course for students is the opportunity to speak with HR and recruiting professionals to better understand the employer’s perspective on resumes, interviewing, internships, networking, and other hiring topics.
The X220 Professional Perspective Class will offer "The 'Day in the Life' panel for freshmen and sophomore students to gain valuable insights into various business career pathways. The panel provides a realistic perspective on what it's like to work in different roles within the business sector. Panelists will be asked to share their career journeys, discuss their current roles, highlight pivotal skills and experiences, offer advice to students considering similar career paths, and participate in a Q&A session with the students.

The Career Fair at the Kelley School of Business is our flagship annual event, organized to connect ambitious students with leading companies from diverse sectors, such as accounting and finance, management and HR, marketing, real estate and entrepreneurship, and supply chain management. This dynamic and interactive event helps Kelley students meet industry professionals, explore internships, and secure full-time positions.
Recruitment tables are a great way for companies to casually connect with Kelley students and advertise available positions. Kelley hosts recruitment tables on the 2nd floor of our academic building and advertises the recruitment table calendar to students and faculty.

I-Core is a semester-long project in which student teams use marketing, operations, finance, and leadership to collaborate on a feasibility study for partner organizations. We invite central Indiana businesses to partner with our student teams to explore new product opportunities. In this partnership, the students will bring fresh perspectives and creative minds, guided by the Kelley Indianapolis faculty.

The Kelley Challenge is a pre-college program that offers engaging, case-style opportunities for high school students to learn about business professions. The Kelley Challenge gives high schools and community programs access to Kelley employer partners, company-developed cases challenges, and Kelley Career development professionals.
When they participate in the Kelley Challenge, high school students have a career-focused opportunity to learn more about the Kelley School of Business and get ot know Indianapolis-based employers and post-secondary business pathway options.
