The Graduate Certificate in Medical Management is affordable and competitive, especially compared to a healthcare management master’s degree.

  • Tuition is $700 per credit hour or $10,500 for the 15 credit program.*
  • University fees are estimated at $275 for 3 credits per quarter.*
  • Textbooks, learning materials, parking, and course-specific fees are additional costs.

Covering the Cost

You can cover the cost of the graduate certificate with a combination of financial aid through one or more of the following options.

Many organizations offer professional development opportunities for their employees. Talk to your supervisor about sponsoring the graduate certificate costs as part of your professional development. They may also offer a tuition reimbursement benefit for employees. Consult your human resources office to find out if your organization offers this benefit. If you are a full-time Indiana University employee, you can receive up to $4,151.25 per term to reduce the cost of the graduate certificate.

Check to see if your organization offers reimbursement for CME or CEU credits. You may be able to use these resources to help pay for the Graduate Certificate in Medical Management. Each class offers up to 15 hours depending on your certification.

Federal student loan options, including the Stafford and Graduate PLUS loans, are available for U.S. students through IUPUI. To apply, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, known as FAFSA. Use IUPUI’s school code: 001813

The Kelley School of Business offers a limited number of partial tuition fellowships. Fellowships are awarded based on academic performance, professional performance and experiences, personal achievements, career achievements, application strength, geographic locations, and organizational affiliations. Apply to receive up to $1,500 as a tuition waiver of $100 per credit hour.

Unlike loans, scholarships and grants generally don’t have to be repaid. They can come from the federal government, your state government, or private and non-profit organizations.

You can use your savings to help pay for the graduate certificate. If you do, ensure you still have money set aside for unplanned expenses. Talk to a financial advisor if you have questions.
